This past weekend I started to read the book on Grameen Bank by Mohammed Yunus who won the Nobel Prize for his concept of micro lending that he has established in Bangladesh. The concept is that by making small loans usually less than $100 to mostly women in Bangladesh and now many other places Grameen Bank enables these women and families to establish businesses that can help them get their families out of poverty.
